Example of Arbitrage.

(4th-January-2020)

One afternoon John finds Bitcoin listed on the Binnance Exchange for $7492.15. He sees that this price change hasn't caught up with the BitMex yet, where it is still listed for $7992.05 .

He buys 1BTC from Binnance Exchange. At the same time he executes a sell order for 1BTC on the BitMex Exchange. Considering that both exchanges does not have transaction fees, so it is free to trade on both exchanges.

John trade has no risks because already knows (in fact has already acted on) his profit margin. The price difference means that John will sell his crypto-currency more then he bought them, netting him an immediate $499.9 profit.

Bot

A computer program performs the automatic repetitive tasks. Bots also act as the primary tool for automating interactions and engagement with website content on a huge scale. A bot does the certain tasks, which is programmatically software application. They run according to their instructions without a human user needing to start them up which means, Bots are automated. Bots mostly mimic or replace a human user's behavior. The repetitive task is done by them typically and done much faster than human does.

Fig: Bot Functionalities Imaginary

Bots for the most part work over a system; the greater part of Internet traffic is bots filtering content, cooperating with website pages, talking with clients, or searching for assault targets. A few bots are valuable, for example, web crawler bots that list content for hunt or client administration bots that help clients. Different bots are "terrible" and are customized to break into client accounts, check the web for contact data for sending spam, or perform different malevolent exercises. If it's connected to the Internet, a bot will have an associated IP address.

Bots are also used to walk through the Internet in search of new sites. Search engines use search bots for that. Botnets are used for denial-of-service attacks, virus spreading etc.

Like all technology, bots can certainly be misused. We see examples of this in internet attacks, spam my social media accounts, and the arena of online shopping reselling.

These "botnets" tend to give bots a bad name and inspire negative, malicious connotations.
