We can specify different characteristics for each property
The has_base property can be made Functional
A Functional Property can have only one value for example the base can be thick or thin but not both
On the other hand topping property is not made functional as a pizza can have more than one topping at a time.

In addition to Functional property we can tick other characteristics as required for the has_base property
Similarly we can add characteristics to other properties.
